CrowPi Code Lab is a hands-on STEM experience for middle and high school students that introduces coding, electronics, and real-world problem solving using the Raspberry Pi 5 and the CrowPi Advanced Kit. Campers learn how software and hardware work together by writing Python programs to control sensors, lights, motors, and other electronic components—because in this camp, ideas don’t just run in your head, they run in code.Throughout the camp, tech explorers design and test their own mini projects such as motion detectors, temperature monitors, alarms, and interactive displays. They’ll work with buttons, buzzers, LED matrices, cameras, and RFID readers while learning core programming concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, and input/output. If something doesn’t work the first time, that’s not a bug, it’s a learning feature.
The CrowPi Code Lab emphasizes creativity, experimentation, and logical thinking. No prior coding or electronics experience is required. By the end of the camp, coders will understand how modern devices collect data, make decisions, and respond to the world around them.
