Children engage in gentle hairstyling, affirming storytelling, and intuitive movement, while parents learn simple rituals to support nervous system regulation, self-expression, and confidence. Hair becomes a gateway to identity, empowerment, and joy, helping children feel seen, affirmed, and proud of who they are. Parents will learn best practices to efficiently care for their children’s curls and coils at home.
The session is inclusive of neurodiverse children and incorporates strategies for sensory-sensitive participants, offering options and adjustments to ensure each child feels safe, seen, and comfortable.
