Crossroads Fiber Festival celebrates traditional fiber arts by bringing together skilled artisans, curious learners, and fiber enthusiasts. At the heart of the event is a hands-on demonstration area where visitors can watch techniques such as spinning, weaving, dyeing, felting, and quilting performed using both historic and modern tools and techniques. Our demonstrators, experts in their respective fields, will explain and interpret the cultural origins of these methods, giving visitors a deeper appreciation of how fiber practices historically shaped daily life, as well as their influence within contemporary art communities. In addition to our demonstration area, Crossroads includes an eclectic marketplace that will showcase regionally produced yarns, fleeces, textiles, tools, and handmade goods, offering attendees the chance to support small makers and take home unique goods and gifts. Together, the demonstrations and marketplace create a vibrant atmosphere that highlights the enduring heritage and significance of fiber traditions.Location:
