Bob Lin
Chairman of SVTA; Founder of Acorn Campus
Bob Lin is the founder of Multi-Dimensional Venture Partners, an angel venture group from Silicon Valley and Chairman of Healhtlink Services, a nation-wide medical assistance company in China. He also co-founded and served as General Partner for Acorn Campus and Acorn Angels since late 90’s. Bob has over 25 years of angel and venture investment expertise with multiple IPOs. He also serves as a partner in PHYCOS Consulting, a very prestigious consulting firm for high level businesses, entrepreneurs, and government. Bob has a long history of entrepreneurial start-up and international business, marketing, and management experiences. He was well known for launching investments for Avanti (IPO ’95 25x), AltiGen (IPO ‘97) and LightLogic (Sold to Intel for $400M ’01 for 100x). He was an early investor in Vertex Network (Sold to Mitel for $200M ’99, 20x), and MPS (IPO ’04 70x). He was also the co-founder of Pine Photonics (sold to Opnext ’03; IPO ‘07) and Luxnet (Planned IPO 2010). His other portfolios include Fortinet (IPO 2009), Anda Network, MONDAY Tech (sold to Yahoo ‘08) and many more.
Dr. Hsing Kung
Partner of Acorn Venture
Dr. Hsing Kung, widely known as the “Godfather of Fiber Optics,” is a pioneering entrepreneur and respected community leader in the optical communications industry. He has served as Chairman of Innolight ($26B), Luxnet, and Opnext, and is the co-founder of SDL, which was acquired by JDSU for $44B in 1999. In 2000, he co-founded Pine Photonics and served as President and CEO until its acquisition by Opnext, where he continued as Senior Vice President until 2005. Since 2006, Dr. Kung has been the Managing Partner of Acorn Campus Ventures, and he currently serves as Chairman of Luxnet Corporation and Innolight Corporation, continuing to support and grow innovative technology ventures.
Dr. Jeffrey Yen

Dr. Jeffrey Yen is a dedicated professional with over 9 years of experience in the Wireless Power Transfer for Embedded Energy Infrastructure industry. As the Co-founder and CEO of Etherdyne Technologies, Inc., he specializes in developing innovative solutions that enhance creativity and elevate human experiences. Passionate about advancing electrification infrastructure and unlocking a new class of battery-free devices, he is committed to fostering collaboration within the industry. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University, Dr. Yen is excited to engage with fellow professionals and share insights as the panelist.
Tony Wang

Tony serves as the Managing Partner of O’Melveny’s Newport Beach office. Also a leading corporate practitioner in China, Tony is ranked by Chambers Asia as a “Leading Lawyer” in “Corporate M&A High-end Capability: China-based (International Firms)” and “Private Equity: Buyouts & Venture Capital Investment (International Firms).” He is also ranked by International Financial Law Review as a “Leading Lawyer” for “China M&A” and by Legal500 as a “Leading Individual: Foreign Firms” for “China Private Equity/Venture Capital.” Chambers recognizes Tony for giving “good starting advice when it comes to acquisitions.”
