About this Event
Once again, we're absolutely made up to welcome Leigh (The Colour Dasher) back to Duncan Place Community Hub to lead another fab crochet workshop!
Autumn will be in full swing, so we're going to be making crochet pumpkins. You'll be guided through a beginner friendly pattern, learn a really handy crochet stitch and enjoy some crafting in good company.
During the class you will learn how to make the 'small' size pumpkin, and leave with the pattern that shows you how to make a middle sized one and a large one too.
At the end of the workshop you'll have your very own handmade decoration - and the skills to make lots more!
Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax. This is what it's all about, a chilled morning of relaxing crochet.
All materials and tuition will be provided, and you'll take away your own crochet hook. Light refreshments are on us!
This workshop is for adults, and is limited to 10 spaces.

About Leigh (The Colour Dasher)
Leigh has been teaching crochet for around five years, and enjoyed crocheting herself for many more, picking the craft up during her years at uni. She found that having just 5 minutes to do something other than proof-reading essays made the world of difference! With this balance in mind, The Colour Dasher crochet classes are all about using crochet for health and wellbeing- for reducing stress, managing anxiety and as a creative outlet for any troubles that you may have. They're about having the time to sit back, crochet and let the world pass by for a few hours.
