Join Louise, a warm and creative tutor in this free community workshop. These workshops offer a free session with Louise, to learn how to create the designs and motifs that will be included in the next community installation and this one is a biggy...Its Rainbows for Pride Month in June 2026
Yarn is provided for the workshop but you can bring your own and of course you will need to bring your own hooks and any other tools you like to use.
The pattern will be provided and the workshop will take you through each stage of the pattern, how to create different sizes and how to prepare for an installation, including stiffening pieces.
To participate in this workshop you will need to be able to crochet to a basic level, this is not suitable for complete beginners as there will only be a breakdown of the pattern and any complex stitches. There are workshops available if you have never crocheted before
The workshop is free as any motifs you make in the session will become part of the installation and hopefully you will create more! You will also have the opportunity to participate in the installation and learn the skills involved. A WhatsApp group will be created to support this installation
Places are limited so you must book your place by emailing [email protected] or WhatsApp 07714672622
