About this Event
You will leave holding a panda you made.
Not bought. Not ordered. Made — stitch by stitch, with your own hands, over four Friday evenings in Dublin.
You have been meaning to slow down. This is what slowing down feels like.
編みぐるみ · AMIGURUMI
Amigurumi is a Japanese craft tradition — the art of crocheting small, stuffed creatures by hand. The word itself means "knitted stuffed toy." Each stitch is simple. Precise. Satisfying in a way that is hard to explain until you are doing it.
Two hours where nothing needs doing except this. A small group of women, good company, and something taking shape between your fingers that did not exist when you arrived.
Your hands busy. Your mind happy. That is the whole thing.
一 二 三 四 · THE FOUR EVENINGS
一 Friday 22nd May · The Beginning
You learn the magic circle — the foundation of all crochet. Your hands are uncertain. That is exactly right. Something is starting.
二 Friday 29th May · The Rhythm
Something shifts. The stitches come without thinking. This is the evening you realise you are actually doing this.
三 Friday 5th June · The Details
Ears. Paws. The small things that give it a personality. You start to see what it will become.
四 Friday 12th June · The Finish
The final stitches. The stuffing. The moment you hold a finished panda you made with your own hands — and feel something you did not expect to feel.
THE EXPERIENCE
A maximum of ten people. Intentionally small — so that every person gets time, attention, and space to find their rhythm. We guide every session personally, sitting with each person, moving at your pace. There is no rushing. There is no falling behind.
This is not a class. It is four Friday evenings that actually belong to you.
BEFORE YOU TALK YOURSELF OUT OF IT
You have never crocheted. You are not crafty. You are already thinking of reasons this is not for you.
Every single student who has ever walked through the door felt exactly the same way.
Every single one of them left with something they made.
You will be fine. More than fine.
