Grab your yarn and join us for an evening of creativity and crochet at The Purple Turtle Artisan Collective! 🧶In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create a classic mesh-style crochet market bag — the perfect reusable tote for farmers markets, beach days, library hauls, or everyday errands.
This class is designed for beginners with a little crochet familiarity, as well as crocheters looking for a fun and relaxing project. We’ll cover foundational stitches, shaping techniques, and pattern basics while working through the bag together step-by-step in a supportive environment.
Each participant will receive yarn for one bag, a printed pattern, and guided instruction throughout class. Crochet hooks will be available to borrow during the workshop if needed.
Please note: Most participants will not fully complete the bag during the class session, but will leave with the skills and confidence needed to finish the project at home.
