Join us for a yarn at our October Crochet & Chill Creative Picnic—this month we're connecting with our inner Sapphic Grannies for some Sunday stitching!
Bring along your crochet, embroidery, knitting—or that half finished project that’s been yearning for some love—and settle in for a low pressure, high vibe picnic. From soft yarn, tasty snacks, gentle chatter, to the warmth of a safe, inclusive space where fellow sapphics gather to create, connect, and share laughter.
Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or just curious to try something new, this is the perfect spot to unwind, share tips, and let your creativity flow. We’ll also have our sapphic games, tunes, and plenty of room to sit back under the spring sun, snack, and mingle while the lake shimmers in the background ✨

🚗 Driving: There is free parking available in the carpark or on Bourke Street.
🚌 Public transport: Take a train to Parramatta Station, then hop on the 609 bus (A2 stand) for a 15 minute ride to Bourke St, followed by a short walk down Illawong Drive to the lake.
