Welcome to our Crochet 101 Class! We’ll be making a cat-eared hat!
This is a two week class, where you will learn how to
- Single crochet, double crochet and chain stitches
- Count your stitches and rows
- Seam your pieces together
- Add a border
- Read a crochet pattern
There is an expectation that students will continue to work on their pieces between classes, as they're not likely to finish them all while in class. We’ll cover getting you started and make sure you recognize where your stitches are so that you can continue working on them at home!
This is a 2 part class. Dates will be on Saturdays, from 2pm - 4 pm
- 1/25 - Learning to hold your hook, create stitches and recognize where they are, finish off your pieces
- 2/8 - Adding borders to your pieces, seaming them together and sewing in your ends.
Homework will be assigned between classes!
Students are not obligated to purchase their yarn and supplies from Dye Mad Yarns, but do get 15% off! Just let whoever is checking you out that you're shopping for a class with us.
