4 giorni in bicicletta, che ci porteranno alla scoperta dell'Isola di KRK e l'Isola di Rab.
l’Isola di Krk è la più grande e la più frequentata delle isole croate.
Grazie alla facilità con cui si può raggiungere e grazie al ponte che la collega alla terra ferma, incastonata nella baia di Krčki, Krk è una cittadina medievale con un grazioso centro storico.
l'Isola di Rab (nota anche come Arbe) è senza dubbio una delle più affascinanti. Considerata un vero paradiso naturale, la sua varietà di paesaggi le ha valso il titolo di Geopark nel 2008. La costa meridionale dell'isola è costellata di spiagge e calette circondate da foreste di pini, ed è la zona più popolata, mentre a nord il paesaggio si fa più rugged, con una costa rocciosa e pochi insediamenti abitati sparsi. Protetto dai venti grazie ai monti circostanti, l'entroterra presenta un dolce panorama di vigne e oliveti.
Nel corso di questi 4 giorni, visiteremo Baška, la seconda località più importante dell’isola di Krk e in molti la preferiscono alla città di Krk per il suo splendido contesto naturale: situata all’estremità meridionale dell’isola, ha una lunghissima spiaggia di ciottoli che si estende ai piedi di un alto crinale.
Passeremo anche dallo splendito paesino di Vrbnik sull'Isola di Krk, arroccato su una scogliera di 48 metri a picco sul mare, è uno dei borghi medievali più pittoreschi dell’isola, ricco di scorci suggestivi, ripide stradine e passaggi ad arco, tranquillo, languido e silenzioso, per poi imbarcarci per andare a visitare la splendida cittadina di Rab!
Il percorso si sviluppa su strade sterrate e asfaltate.
Le salite del territorio richiedono una buona preparazione fisica e i tratti sterrati richiedono abilità e piacere di pedalare in fuoristrada.

4 days by bicycle, taking us to discover the Island of KRK and the Island of Rab.
The island of Krk is the largest and most visited of the Croatian islands.
Thanks to how easy it is to reach and the bridge connecting it to the mainland, nestled in the Bay of Krk, Krk is a medieval town with a charming historic center.
The island of Rab (also known as Arbe) is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating. Considered a true natural paradise, its variety of landscapes earned it the title of Geopark in 2008. The southern coast of the island is dotted with beaches and coves surrounded by pine forests, and it is the most populated area, while to the north the landscape becomes more rugged, with a rocky coastline and few scattered inhabited settlements. Protected from the winds by the surrounding mountains, the interior offers gentle views of vineyards and olive groves.
Over these 4 days, we will visit Baška, the second most important resort on the island of Krk, and many prefer it to the town of Krk for its splendid natural setting: located at the southern tip of the island, it features a very long pebble beach stretching at the foot of a high ridge.
We will also pass through the splendid village of Vrbnik on the Island of Krk, perched on a 48-meter cliff overlooking the sea. It is one of the most picturesque medieval villages on the island, full of evocative views, steep streets, and arched passages—peaceful, languid, and silent—before we board the ferry to visit the beautiful town of Rab!
The route takes place on dirt and paved roads.
The climbs in the area require good physical preparation, and the dirt sections require skill and enjoyment of off-road cycling.
