The actor and filmmaker known for his eccentric brilliance is back on the road with a new project and tribute to his late father, veteran actor Bruce Glover.
Following the recent world premiere at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, Crispin Hellion Glover makes a rare return to Minneapolis in celebration of his latest film, No! YOU’RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance, written, edited, produced, and directed by Glover and starring Glover and his recently deceased father, who co-wrote the screenplay. Shot on classic 35mm film, the silent, avant-garde piece was primarily shot at his estate in the Czech Republic and aesthetically harkens back to the silent film era of acclaimed Czech director Karel Zeman.
The event kicks off with Crispin Hellion Glover's Live Dramatic Narration of His Profusely Illustrated Books Slide Show Version 3, a live dramatic narration of his profusely illustrated books projected behind him, followed by the screening of the new film and a Q&A and meet & greet/booksigning.
