Music4Romania (www.music4romania.org) cordially invites the larger Birmingham community to “Crisantemi: Songs of Life”on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at Independent Presbyterian Church (https://ipc-usa.org). Music spanning three centuries, from Bach to Freddie Mercury, will be interwoven with poetry by Rilke, Rumi, T.S. Eliot, and Hesse and visual art projections to create a meditation on what it means to be fully alive, to love, to lose, to surrender, and to ultimately celebrate the wild, precious gift of existence.
Performed by Kathleen Buccleugh, soprano; Lauren Peacock, cello; René Reder, viola; Daniel Szasz, violin; Alina Voicu, piano, this FREE program concludes Music4Romania’s 2025 “Letters to the Future” series. Donations will gratefully be accepted to benefit Music4Romania's programs.
