Take a stroll through the ancient streets of Chester to hear the true crime stories of Medieval traitors, Tudor heretics, Georgian highwaymen and vicious murderers throughout the city’s 2000 years of history. This tour will take you on a journey through the city's cruel criminal history, revealing spine-chilling tales of heresy, highway robbery and M**der. Led by a local Green Badge Tourist Guide, the walking tour includes many of Chester’s famous sights, such as the Cross, the Eastgate and the cathedral – but follows a dark, cruel story to the places where Cheshire’s criminal element was caught, tried and punished over the centuries.
