About this Event
The Centre for Research in History, Heritage, and Memory Studies (CRHHMS) and Centre for Research in Literature, Linguistics and Culture (CRiLLaC) are holding an in-person writing retreat on City Campus.
Retreat
The writing retreat involves focusing on writing in set sessions as a group - be it a chapter, article, conference paper or even a tricky email you've been putting off. You will not be expected to read or present anything written in the retreat to the group, only to share your goals for the session/day and to reflect back with the group on your progress.
You are also free to drop in and out of sessions as you please.
The retreat is free and open to all staff and postgraduate students from across the School of Social Sciences and NTU generally.
Be sure to bring along any essential writing snacks.
Please register on the Eventbrite to attend.
NOTE
Places are limited. If you sign up for the retreat but can't attend, do still let Cat know ([email protected]) so we can free up tickets.
Also this event will finish a tad earlier as there is the British Academy Lecture taking place at 5pm in the Newton Building. For more about this event, see here.
