Commencing at the Cressy Park, the group will wander the Main Street to observe some of the older buildings and learn about their past uses. The walk then follows along the Stock Route which overlooks farmland, with views along the Great Western Tiers. We will drive to have lunch beside the Macquarie River. After lunch, interested participants can walk along the riverbank. Club member Rae Wardlaw, a former resident of Cressy, will entertain the group with some anecdotes of when she lived there, and some history details.To book, phone the walk coordinator by 8pm Tuesday evening prior or contact the club at [email protected] for further information.
