It's time for our yearly Bacon and Beer Stop for the CCC. We cheer on the runners while give them what the really need to keep going.
This event only works if everyone contributes!
That means we need people to bring cold beer and cooked bacon. I will provide the cups and tables for the beer stop, a couple cases of beer, and, like, 15 lbs of bacon. That will only get us through the start of the runners. We need more!!!

My notes for cooking bacon after years of doing this:
The best way to cook it is to bake it in the oven on cookie sheets at 375 for 20 mins or so. This gets it nice and crispy and you don't have to be in front of the stove for hours, just changing out the bacon in the pan (make sure to dump the bacon grease in a cup between batches so you do not set your oven on fire (ask me how i know). Then I break the bacon in two or three pieces to make it all go further.
