About the show:
The "Unheard Sounds" performer, multi-instrumentalist, Brazilian percussion player, composer, and international recording artist/producer will present his new project @ La Poubelle alongside Han Beyli on bass and Richard Maheux on keys.
Gilmar Gomes is core band member of Enrique Iglesias since 2001. He has also played and recorded with wide-ranging artists and bands in the likes of Harry Belafonte, Shakira, Rihanna, Meshell Ndegeocello, Richard Bona, Jovanotti, Gilberto Gil, Daniela Mercury, Angélique Kidjo, Esperanza Spalding, and Yerba Buena. Born in Bahia, Brazil, traveled and toured the world and living in Miami - he brings samba, salsa, Afro-Cuban influences, roots sounds and world music with eclectic vibes and cross-cultural collaborations in a new form.
