✨ Creative Writing Summer Camp for Teens! ✨Looking for a creative outlet for your teen(s) this summer, or a place to have them meet friends who get their love for storytelling, books, and imagination? 📚✍️
Join us at Native Home Marketplace for a six-week Summer Writing Camp designed for teens ages 14 to 18 who want to explore creative writing in a fun, supportive, and social environment.
Led by internationally acclaimed, award-winning author Elizabeth Schechter, this small-group experience introduces the foundations of creative writing while helping students develop their own voice, style, and ideas. With experience in character-driven storytelling and popular modern genres, students will gain insight into the kinds of stories many teens love to read and write today, including fantasy, adventure, romance, and other trending “BookTok”-inspired styles... with a little creativity, the sky is the limit!
💭 What to expect:
• A relaxed, welcoming space for beginner and aspiring writers
• Creative exercises, prompts, and storytelling techniques
• Guidance on building characters, relationships, and immersive worlds from a well-established and published professional author
• Opportunities to connect with like-minded teens
• A social, club-like atmosphere where creativity and friendships grow
