Breaking News! It’s an announcement you’ve been waiting for: French House Party’s 2026 Creative Writing Retreat will be held from May 30 to June 4.
Operated by experienced coach Katherine Clements, this is a 6-day residential break and welcomes writers and would-be writers of all standards.
Our tutor Katherine is a novelist and accredited writing coach best known for her dark, atmospheric fiction. Her most recent novel – The Coffin Path – was nominated for the HWA Gold Crown Award and is currently in development for the screen.
A Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Sheffield and Manchester universities and a Fulbright Scholar, she lives in West Yorkshire where she runs an independent business supporting other writers though editing, coaching and workshops.
