Home educating? Join us at Mansfield Museum for a creative and inspiring writing workshop designed especially for Home Education families with children aged 9–14.
Led by poet and performer Leanne Moden, this fun and friendly session invites families to explore the museum’s fascinating collections and uncover the hidden stories behind the objects on display. Using the galleries as inspiration, we’ll turn our thoughts and ideas into original stories and poems together.
This interactive workshop is a fantastic opportunity for young people to:
✨ Develop creative writing skills
✨ Build confidence in speaking and listening
✨ Discover surprising facts from the museum collections
✨ Connect and socialise with other Home Education families
Expect imagination, creativity, and plenty of storytelling in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Please note: A parent or guardian must attend with their child/young person.
