About this Event
For those who secretly wish they could write, but are sure they can't, and those who are seasoned hands, each session will feature useful tips and exercises, with guidance, offering ample opportunity to experiment with different forms of story-telling - to be inspired, encouraged, and surprised! Facilitated by Janina Karpinska.
Janina Aza Karpinska is a multidisciplinary Artist-Poet with a broad creative arts practice, with a background that covers: an M.A. in Creative Writing & Personal Development (with Merit), Sussex University; Foundation in Fine Art, Chelsea School of Art, and Foundation in Art Therapy, Edinburgh University Settlement. She has facilitated funded creative arts workshops for community groups, refugees, and projects that support good mental health practices. Drawn to making and facilitating commemorative art and creative Life Stories, she has exhibited such work in Journeys / Memories, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, and several Arts Festivals further afield. Her work has also been published in Poems in the Waiting Room; Aromatica Poetica; Ekphrastic Review; Drawn to the Light; Raising the Fifth, and Months to Years, amongst others.
