Please note that sessions hosted at Sandwichbar require a 1000 HUF per capita donation for the sustainment of the community space and its mission.
While everyone is welcome to what the facility has to offer, including making your own tea or coffee, please also clean up after yourselves, including washing your used dishes.
It is a bring-your-own beverage and snacks event and we welcome anyone interested in trying out this writing experience. Don’t forget your writing tools!

The approximately 3-hour creative writing session is built upon smaller exercises (usually 3 of 20 minutes each) around a specific theme using various prompts selected by the session leader to guide the participants through a personal writing practice in whichever literary form they prefer. You’ll be surprised how many approaches can lead back to the same theme!
Sharing your writing is completely optional.
ImPROMPTu provides a safe, non-judgemental space where we can enjoy our passion for writing in a social and supportive environment. It’s important to note that the event’s main goal is drawing pleasure from the act of writing, spiking the participants’ creativity, and we don’t purposefully set out to teach the crafts of the trade, or critique each other’s work in any way.
