About this Event
Thursday Evenings - For ages 11-18
Join us for an exciting 5-session creative workshop series where young people will explore poetry and visual art to transform their ideas into a real public mural in their local area.
Led by local poet Emily Holtom, and mural artist Katie O, this weekly series gives participants the chance to express themselves, learn new skills, and leave a lasting mark on their community.

- Collaborate with artists to develop ideas into a large-scale mural design
Make Your Mark
The work created during these sessions won’t just stay in the workshop - it will become part of the local landscape.
Participants’ poetry and artwork will be brought together to create a public mural on the wall of Auckland Hall, meaning young people will directly shape and influence their local environment.
