Want to get better at drawing? Have OC’s you long to bring to life or give more life to? Come to “Creative Sketching with Shapes” taught by local, professional artist @ezra.lau.art and go home with several pages of practiced skills and final sketches to be proud of. We invite artists of all skill levels to have fun while being creative.
Hour 1: will involve warm-up practices and demonstrations on how to approach creative problem-solving. (6+ small sketches on one 8.5"x11" page, approximately 5 mins per sketch, with more discussions and sharing after each)
Hour 2: will introduce character design concepts, and how to bring more story elements into the detailing and refining process of drawing. (2 medium drawings on one page, 15 mins per drawing)
Hour 3: will be about "finishing" a drawing, fleshing out the environment, and the setting. Discussion of how finer details like texture, physics, and posing can be implemented. (1 full-size drawing on one page, 1 hour)
