Looking to take your hand spun yarns to the next step?
Come along to my introduction to Plying Workshop where I will guide you through the various techniques from basic 2 ply yarn to art yarns. We will also look at the purpose of plying and how to measure the balance of yarn.
Skill level: This workshop is suitable for advanced beginner or those wishing to expand their existing skills.
this workshop will cover the following plying techniques:
Standard 2-Ply
Chain Plying
Spiral Ply
Cable
Intro to art yarn plying
A fun and friendly workshop with a group of like-minded creatives. All materials are provided as well as refreshments.
There will be spinning wheels to use for the workshop, however you are welcome to bring your own spinning wheel. (Please let us know if you are bringing your own wheel so that we can offer an additonal place)

These sessions are aimed at adults.
Cancellation and a full refund (less the non refundable booking fee) can be obtained up to 30 days before the course starts. In exceptional circumstances we will try to rearrange another date.
Workshops are subject to a minimum booking number to run and may need to be cancelled or rebooked if numbers are too low or if we need to cancel due to staff issues or covid. If it's us cancelling we will offer another date or workshop or a refund (less the non refundable booking fee)
