An exploratory acting class for grades K-2 and 3-5 based in imaginative play and theatre games. Lyceum Studio offers a theatre training environment that nurtures creativity, team-building and self-discovery!
Students in grades K-2 will collaborate to create a short play for the spring showcase. Young artists will explore character and plot development, rehearse their script, and craft together to make props and sets.
Students in grades 3-5 will rehearse and perform a short script, TALENT SHOW TROUBLES by Jennifer Reif for the fall showcase. Young artists will explore characters, relationships and creating the world of a play!
Creative Play Schedule:
Sep 14 - Nov 2 (Sundays) | 12:15 pm - 1:45 pm
Showcase: Nov 2 (Time TBD)
The Creative Play classes for K-5 run simultaneously and will share some activities and exercises!
Please make a note on your registration if your theatre student is interested in technical theatre.
