About this Event
Bring your digital camera, which should have some manual options, a tripod and gear for the weather to White Rock Beach and learn to play with various techniques to create an artisitic impressionist style of photography.
This will be a series of workshops to try out different methods each time. We will use the varying light and weather to creative interesting effects and paint with light during and after sunset.
Some techniques that will be covered are intential camera motion (ICM), double exposure, shutter drag, macro, zoom, Orton Effect, long exposure etc.
The purpose of these workshops is to stretch our skills and imagination and celebrate our 'mistakes' since these usually produce the most interesting images. We will work outside of our comfort zones and explore our curiousities.
