Creative Nonfiction Writing Workshop
Join our fun and interactive 6-week workshop where you'll dive into the art of creative nonfiction. Whether you're a newbie or looking to sharpen your storytelling skills, this workshop is designed to help you craft compelling true stories and get feedback from others. Expect engaging exercises, helpful critique, and a chance to connect with fellow writers!

WEEK ONE (January 18): Introduction + Relearning Workshop
WEEK TWO (January 25): Finding Your Voice
WEEK THREE (February 1): Time & Story Structures
WEEK FOUR (February 8): Experiementing with Form
WEEK FIVE (February 15): Make Your Characters Real
WEEK SIX (February 22): Comedy in Creative Nonfiction
Structure of the Workshop:
Each week, the first half of the class will be dedicated to the lesson plan. The second half will be dedicated to discussing your pieces (2-3 people per week).
Email your piece to the instructor the day BEFORE workshop if you'd like to workshop in class the following week, and the instructor will distribute your piece to the class to read and make notes. You will also recieve extensive, personalized feedback from the instructor. Please respect the 3,000 word page limit.
