On Friday 4th October, immerse yourself in a multidisciplinary experience spanning four floors of The Hedberg. This micro-festival showcases bold, new site-specific works inspired by the fascinating world of the Tropical Rock Lobster.
In an exciting partnership, the School of Creative Arts and Media has joined forces with the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) to explore cutting-edge research on Sustainable Tropical Rock Lobster aquaculture. Students from across various disciplines have creatively reinterpreted this marine icon, resulting in a diverse array of innovative artistic responses. Featuring live music, installations, performance, sound sculptures, digital media and visual arts, this micro-festival brings together students from across the School of Creative Arts and Media to showcase bold, new site-specific works.
A major component of our distinctive curriculum, Creative Lab is presented by students from our Media and Communication, Fine Arts, Music, Theatre and Performance streams.
