Curious about a career in the Creative Industries?
Join us for Creative Futures, a hands-on careers event designed to introduce young people aged 13–25 to opportunities across the creative sector.
This is not your typical careers fair. Each creative professional will host their own interactive station around the venue, giving you the chance to drop in, have real conversations, ask questions and actively try out what they do. The line-up will be announced in the lead up to the event and will include Illustration and Fine Art, electronic music production, fashion, photography, podcasting, and more.
Creative Futures is designed to give you valuable insight into creative career pathways and direct access to industry professionals. You can explore your talents, develop new skills and experiment with different forms of art, music and media in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The event runs from 11am to 3pm, and you are free to move around the stations at your own pace. No previous experience is required, just curiosity and an interest in getting involved.
You will also have the opportunity to meet the Creative Stirling team. Creative Stirling is a local charity dedicated to supporting young talent and helping individuals, particularly those who have experienced adversity, hate crime or barriers to accessing opportunities, to find their passion and build positive futures through creative learning, employability and wellbeing support.
