Creative Freedom Craft Club for Kids

Creative freedom, unstructured craft times, groups of like-minded kids, a safe enviornment - this is what your children will experience during our Kids Craft Club.

This club is perfect for kids passionate about creating! We understand the importance of exposure to art, group activities, exploring your creativity, and trying different mediums. At Stockton's Indie Bookstore on the Miracle Mile, kids can enjoy two hours of unstructured creative time in a safe, encouraging enviornment. Today kids have too much structured time. This Craft Club provides the opportunity to have access to multiple mediums and supplies, with the freedom to create whatever moves them.

Here is what they will have access to during Craft Clubs:

• paper (cardstock, constrution paper, book pages, recycled paper, origami paper)
• cardboard
• scissors
• glue sticks, liquid glue
• markers, pastels, pencils, pens,
• recycled items: toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, boxes, shredded paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, and more
• watercolor and acrylic paint
• brushes, sponges, stamps
• charcoal
• brushtip markers
• glitter pens
• glitter, sequins, pom-poms, and more
• pipe cleaners
• multiple art tables to create
• and more!

All ages are welcome to come to this Craft Club. A mixture of ages is best for children; this encourages leadership and sharing of knowledge from older or more experienced kids. Younger kids can ask questions, or observe others and their skills. Fostering an appreciation for hardworking and differing creative styles, group art activities teach essential life skills to our kids.

Requirements:

• Parents will need to provide emergency contact info and sign a waiver upon drop off.
• Kids 4 and older are welcome to come as long as they are toilet trained.
• If you have multiple children to enroll, please contact us to pay by phone for a sibling discount.
• Scissors will be provided and accessible on the craft tables.
• The last 10 minutes of class will be a group clean up time.
• Children that are disruptive to others, destructive to property, or disrespectful to our participants will not be allowed.
