About this Event
Create wearable, moveable musical tech that can be controlled with your own body! In this month's coding Club, make musical instruments with MakeCode and programme a BBC micro:bit to play different notes as you move or dance. Control your sound by tilting or spinning, and get ready to shake, shake, shake it off!
Suitable for ages 9-12
All Saturday Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things.
What is included in your ticket:
90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult
Access to:
- Access to the woodland, Water Lab and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
- Parking (limited availability)
What is NOT included:
Access to the Exploration Zone
Event Details
Emira's Kitchen café is open from 10am-4pm. Families are welcome to bring picnics and snacks to eat at our lunch tables.

Our fun sessions reflect real world scenarios as coders bring their projects to life with the latest tech gadgets, programming in a variety of languages depending on the session. We encourage creativity and self-led learning with themed projects, and practice patience and problem-solving skills in learning to debug computer code. Suitable for: beginners or advanced.
