DIRECTIONS / PARKING
There is some pay and display parking at the northern end of the park, accessed from Harbord Road.
Cutteslowe Park is Oxford's largest park, with lots of parkland, woods, a lake and even a miniature railway! The longer courses will cross over the ring road, by the footbridge, to Sunnymead Park too, along the banks of the river.
Event registration will be towards the northern end of the park. Why not try the parkrun here first!

REGISTRATION AND START TIMES
IMPORTANT - You must pre-enter, via the Tickets link above.
Start a course any time from 10.15am to 11.45am.
Courses close at 1pm - everyone must report back to the Download tent by 1pm, whether finished or not.

COURSES
Arranged below in order of navigational difficulty. Remember - the course lengths are the straight line distances between the control points. You'll go around 20% further, depending on your route choices!:
YELLOW: 1.6km. Suitable for juniors with some experience or for supervised newcomers, and for family groups.
ORANGE: 2.8km. Suitable for adult beginners and experienced juniors.
RED: 5.0km (expect to run about 6km). Longer, but no more challenging navigationally. Ideal for runners new to orienteering. You still need to be able to read a map, but it is more like an unmarked trail race.
If you're a runner trying orienteering for the first time, the Red course is ideal - you will probably run 6km doing it; if that is too much, then Orange might be more suitable.
For family groups, we recommend the Orange course, or Yellow if you want something shorter.
For juniors, Yellow is a good course, though juniors new to the sport should be accompanied.
