About this Event
In collaboration with SFU Health and Counselling and the Global Student Centre, "Creative Collective" is a safe and inclusive space for students to hang out, meet new people, eat lunch together, and participate in fun and creative activities, including crafts and games.
Creative Collective uses the Dietrich Model of Creativity as a guide, we explore different kinds of activities to maintain our well-being through creative learning and expression - however that looks to you.

January 28 – Memo/Bulletin Board Creation & Bullet Journaling
- Get organized and create your own bulletin board or come by and learn about bullet journaling
February 11 – Decorative Letter Art
- Create your very word art to display wherever you wish!
February 25 – Puzzles and Games
- Minute to Win it Games (with Prizes)! – 4 games starting at 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, and 3pm or come by and do some puzzles on your own
March 11 – Coffee Cup Sleeve Holders
- Come by and create your own coffee cup sleeve holder
March 25 – Paper Frame creations
- Create a picture frame to remember all the events of the academic year
April 8 – Colour and Chat
- De-stress before finals, come by and colour and chat
No Material? No Problem!
We will supply all materials. All activities are optional - you can enjoy doing crafts or simply hang out and connect with others.
Please Note
- The session is free and open to all SFU students
- Registration is encouraged for supply planning; drop-ins are always welcome.
- Refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the event.
- You have the flexibility to come and go from the event anytime from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
