What better time to re-imagine the city, it's meaning, and inhabitants?

This time, we'll be making our own neighborhood in Caro Asercion's . You don’t need to buy anything.

After a short sit, we’ll create the foundations for our city and take turns populating it with meaning. This one won't be a write/draw and share, this will be live, co-created storytelling. For that reason, this December 1, 2024 Creative Coalition is limited to six players.

The Creative Coalition is dedicated to exploration, mindfulness, and play, and will meet the first Sunday of every month for two hours. This group is intended to be a creative coalition across differences, with communal belonging in mind. We will always begin with community guidelines, followed by a short, lightly-guided meditation of about 10 minutes. We play for the set period of time, followed by a debrief to discuss what the experience.

Community Guidelines:

Try it on: Give new ideas and perspectives a chance to land.
Practice Self-Focus: Speak from your own position, not that of a group.
Practice both/and: Substituting “and” for “but” allows for more realities to co-exist.
Refrain from blaming or shaming self and others: Practice mindful speech.
Practice Mindful Listening: Listen for meaning.
Confidentiality: If you want to share something beyond the group, ask first.
