About this Event
Join Us for Goddess Day for OTs!
Friday the 13th was traditionally associated with Goddesses Freya, Venus & the gathering of women to share stories ... until it was considered superstitious.
Through writing, art and connecting to our femininity, we can release what is holding us back.
Are you an Occupational Therapist interested in connection and creativity? I love my job and my team; however, I was starting to feel shut down by the systems that we work in. That's until I started to use creativity as a tool to build my confidence and change the way I work
Join me on Friday, 13th March, to reclaim your magic and connect with other OTs!
Whether you’re looking to unwind, share stories, or just vibe with fellow occupational therapists, this is the spot. Wear something comfy, bring a cushion and yourself.
What to expect
- Welcome to the space
- Meditation/ Visualisation exercise
- Creative flow with writing prompts for poetry or storytelling - this can also be journaling or art-based if you prefer (please bring your own tools if you'd like to). I will also be leading
- Sharing circle and group activity
- Closing ceremony with Affirmation cards with tailored poems written by published author and facilitator Libby Lamb
- Option to join us for dinner after the event.
All views are my own and modalities that have helped me based on personal experience. I am working as a creative facilitator within this space, which is not affiliated with Occupational Therapy, the company I work for or my profession.
