Creative Catalyst Workshop, Chula Vista

The Fleet Science Center is proud to present the Creative Catalyst Workshop Series, funded and supported by the Prebys Foundation.

With the main goal of equipping creative individuals in National City, Barrio Logan, Greater Neighborhoods of Southeastern San Diego, and San Ysidro with the tools and connections to navigate creative submissions opportunities. This is as a result of our community listening with selection committee members during our pilot of Art for Planetary Health initiative.

Info: Join us for networking before the lecture begins! Arrive early to enjoy delicious food, refreshments, complimentary items, and the chance to connect with fellow local creatives in a relaxed setting.

Info: We’re excited to welcome the incredible Jose Lopez, Advancement Coordinator at A.R.T.S., for his lecture “Let’s Get the Grant”: a practical session on strengthening your submission materials, understanding the grant process, and navigating funding opportunities. The session will also include a facilitated pitch activity to help you practice presenting your ideas with confidence.

Info: To end on a sweet note, we’ll have additional networking time after the panel, giving you the chance to ask creatives and panelists any further questions and continue the conversation.
