At a loose end for stuff to do on a Monday night? Been meaning to make time to be creative for ages, but never seem to manage it? Want to meet new people in a low-key, alcohol-free setting? These sessions are for you!
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, annoyed, anxious, or lonely, you are very welcome to join us to do something creative with no pressure to "produce" anything specific.
You don't need to have any artistic skill or experience, and you can chat as much or as little as feels comfortable for you.
Why 'Creative Being'?
I (Emma) was inspired to set up these Creative Being workshops when I realised that I wanted to commit to a regular time to be creative without distractions or interruptions from the outside world, and without being told what to do, but couldn't find anything suitable.
That's when I decided to do something about it myself, and to open the space up to anyone who might be feeling similarly to me, as I figured if I was feeling this way, other people would be too!
When and where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place fortnightly, and are held face-to-face in the meeting room at the Danish Buildings on High Street in Hull city centre on Mondays, 7-8.30pm. Spaces for each session are limited to 6 participants, so it’s a small group.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are £22.50 per person, per session.
