About this Event
This program is designed to enrich the lives of mature adults & seniors aged 55 and above throughout New Jersey by providing them with the opportunity to attend dance classes free of charge. With classes scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm participants have the chance to explore various dance styles in a supportive and welcoming environment. From ballet to contemporary, our diverse offerings cater to the interests and preferences of all participants. The dance classes offered through this program are not only a source of physical activity but also serve as a platform for seniors to cultivate new hobbies, engage in fitness activities, and forge meaningful connections with peers.
Monday:
- 12:30–1:15 PM: Hatha Yoga
- 2:00–3:15 PM: Musical Theater (Acting, Singing, & Dancing)
Tuesday:
- 12:30–1:15 PM: Basic Ballet Barre
Wednesday:
- 12:30–1:15 PM: Jazz & Contemporary
Thursday:
- 12:30–1:15 PM: LIKE Zumba
SATURDAY:
- 1:00 - 2:00PM : BELLI DANCE | FITNESS & DANCING
Important:
- All students must wear the correct dance shoes.
- Outside shoes or sneakers are not allowed on our dance floor.
- Required shoes: Jazz shoes for most classes or ballet slippers.
- No bare feet are allowed. Dance shoes can be purchased in the studio.
