Stitch, style, and story come together in this Creative Aging four-day workshop inspired by the Heard Museum’s Blue Bird exhibition. Participants ages 55+ are invited to design and create their own apron—perfect for cooking, crafting, or simply showing off your creativity.You’ll gain step-by-step guidance in a welcoming space to share stories and skills with fellow creatives.
No sewing experience needed—beginners and advanced sewers are all welcome.
Led by Kiara Reid, Diné and French-Canadian teaching artist from the Navajo Nation. Her artwork draws from both traditional and contemporary practices. She shares her knowledge through workshops across Turtle Island, inspiring others to explore their creative potential.
