Join this bilingual (English/Spanish), intergenerational music and memory experience that brings families and community members together through the songs that shape our lives. You are invited to this interactive workshop/performance, where participants of all ages are guided to create a personal digital playlist—their own “life soundtrack”—using meaningful songs connected to memories of childhood, family, migration, love, celebration, and healing. Gentle prompts invite reflection, journaling, and simple creative expression.
The event also features an intimate acoustic performance by Ana Lucía Divins (vocals) and Carlos Crespo (guitar), sharing songs from their own journeys to inspire connection and conversation.
Designed for children, parents, and grandparents to experience together, this program creates space for storytelling, cultural sharing, and heartfelt connection across generations.
This event is FREE and sponsored by ASC’ Culture Blocks— a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County
