“Herbal medicine cannot be learned from books and social media alone. We need to get beyond information into the lived experience of the energy, fragrances and tastes of the herbs to truly understand the benefits of these special plants. Herbal teas (correctly called infusions), can be one of the best ways to learn”. Margaret PalmerWe are running the first of our “Creating Our Own Medicinal Herbal Gardens” workshops on Saturday March 1st. The workshop will be delivered by Medicinal Herbalist, Margaret Palmer and lunch provided by Mary.
There are two parts to this hands-on practical workshop, including;
1. exploring the alchemy and art of herbal tea-preparation, making and tasting for medicinal, aromatic and culinary impact and
2. personalised tea blending to suit your needs.
There will be opportunities for participants to blend, brew and explore tea combinations and discover what infusions best suit each individual.
Take home and enjoy your own herbal tea blends and recipes, to help kick-start or advance your journey with medicinal, culinary and aromatic herbs. Notes and a range of super resources will also be shared. And of course these day outs are always so enjoyable and active.
