About this Event
Join Jeremy Greenwood to learn about the secrets of creating kombucha. This drink continues to increase in popularity and has a wide variety of flavors available. The talk will highlight how Jeremy selects the right ingredients for his products and the process he uses to make his drinks right here in Salem.
Jeremy grew up on a small homestead outside of Salem, Oregon where he gained an appreciation for growing food and living close to the land. With an engineering background in electronics and software Jeremy co-founded a non-profit called Spark Studio Salem in 2018, a local makerspace and community workspace.
Jeremy runs a non-alcoholic beverage business, Rhythm Beverage Co, focused on community and a love for biodiverse agriculture. Jeremy also volunteers as a board member of the Sustainable Living Center, a non-profit which serves as a living laboratory that educates and encourages sustainable practices in daily life. Jeremy is passionate about sustainability because he feels this is a natural way forward for communities to thrive and to continue thriving for future generations.
