Photography asks us to slow down—to notice a gesture, a glance, a shift of light that might otherwise go unseen. F-Stop: A Moment in Time, presented by Stefani Art Gallery, is a group exhibition celebrating photography’s power to preserve fleeting moments and transform them into lasting visual stories.The exhibition features works by Kelly James, Dan Dinges, David Scott, Lloyd Kimeldorf, and Jose Rios. Working across both traditional and digital processes, the artists bring distinct perspectives to the medium, united by a shared attention to timing, composition, and emotional clarity.
The title F-Stop refers not only to a camera setting but also to the balance photographers strike between precision and intuition. Each image reflects a deliberate choice of light, focus, and moment, capturing atmosphere, memory, and narrative within a single frame.
Photography has always been central to the mission of Stefani Art Gallery, and this exhibition also honors our founder, Richard Stefani, whose lifelong dedication to photography continues to shape the gallery’s commitment to visual storytelling and craftsmanship.
