CREATING FROM LIFE: Portrait Session with a Live Model moderated by Mike RadfordSaturday, February 21, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Wilson Arts Center / Brown Family Studio 1
Age: 14 & up (minors must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: $20 per person
Registration deadline: Thursday, February 19 at Noon
Join us for an inspiring 3-hour workshop designed for artists of all skill levels to refine their portrait techniques. This session features a clothed live model holding an extended single pose, giving you the time and focus to create a detailed work or explore multiple interpretations from different angles (space permitting).
Bring your favorite materials and work in the medium of your choice or use ours! Easels and drawing boards will be available for your convenience. This is a self-directed session with no formal instruction, so come prepared to work freely and creatively.
Whether you’re a professional or a complete beginner to portrait drawing, all skill levels are welcome!
All materials provided. Ages 14+ welcome, but minors must have adult accompaniment.
