Cartoonist Marek Bennett will demonstrate how he creates his long-running graphic novel series, The Civil War Diary of Freeman Colby, based on primary source texts and artwork. You'll then get a chance to create your own mini-comics and graphic novels based on historical comics, stories, and texts from the Forbes House Museum collections, or your own chosen themes. No experience necessary – everyone can create comics! For students in grades 5-8.
