About this Event
Join us for a hopeful and insightful evening with Hamze Awawde, a Palestinian peace activist, conflict resolution expert, and visionary leader. Hamze is a co-founder of YaLa Young Leaders, a pioneering youth peace movement, and recently the Center for Palestinian Renewal (CPR), a new initiative focused on building a brighter future for Palestinians by Palestinian Youth.
Drawing upon his lived experiences and deep commitment to nonviolence, Hamze will discuss how he has fostered dialogue and built cross-conflict understanding through youth empowerment. He will also share CPR's vision for strengthening democratic values within Palestinian society and amplifying Palestinian perspectives in the American discourse on the region's future.
This is a chance to explore how young progressives—Jewish, Palestinian, and beyond—can contribute to a more just, peaceful, and inclusive future. Join us for a conversation that fosters hope, inspires action, and centers the voices of those working to bridge divides and build a shared future on the ground.
