Adults and youth (ages 6+): learn one of the simplest and oldest methods for making fabric!No needles or other tools involved; use just your fingers and yarn to knit an armband, necklace, belt, pet leash, or a tame snake!
One of the simplest and oldest methods for making fabric, finger knitting is the ultimate in integrating STEAM, building fine motor skills, reducing stress, boosting self-esteem, and regulating anxiety, happiness, and mood.
There is no preregistration for this event, but supplies are limited.

Peopleologie brings hands-on field trips to people of all ages, in libraries, schools, and beyond. Workshops honor cultural heritage, celebrate community, and build connections to the world, as participants learn about and make things “the old way.”
