About The Speakers:

As an only child, books were Shobha’s best friend. But she had a secret desire: she didn’t just want to read books- she wanted to write them. However, life had other plans: by her late twenties, Shobha had married, moved to Hong Kong, had two children, and worked in her family-owned business. Searching for a way to marry her passion and find a purpose in her life, she became a freelance writer for newspapers and magazines. To give wings to her creativity, she began writing fiction. Her very first book in English was translated and published in Denmark. In 25 years, she published 12 books in various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and self-help. Recently, Shobha decided to pivot and reinvent herself by becoming a coach. Now, she works as a “book coach” for a publishing house where she guides professional and subject matter experts in writing books.

Mehroo is a certified Professional Coach, an entrepreneur and community builder, with 20 years of experience navigating successful career transitions. Her diverse career trajectory started in the corporate world in India as a TAS Officer with the Tata Group, she took a career break to be a stay-at-home mom, later founding a clothing business, followed by her events and community platform -Mums@PLAY. She focuses on coaching high-potential Women Leaders, helping them lead balanced and fulfilling lives. Mehroo's strength lies in networking, collaboration and bridging gaps between diverse communities. Her clients include senior-level women professionals, SMEs and motivated entrepreneurs seeking personal and professional success.
